Selected products only are available for purchase from our Melbourne Showroom. Do you allow physical inspection of goods prior to purchase? Yes, selected products can be viewed at our Showroom situated at 119 Bulleen Road, Balwyn North, Melbourne. Please refer to our contact us page for opening hours. Do you offer an assembly service? Please go to the terms & conditions page to view our returns/exchange policy How can I pay for my order? Hip Kids Store accepts the following methods of payment: Internet Banking Transfer (Our bank details will be provided to you at checkout) Credit Card (Visa & Mastercard) Paypal Can I add to or change my existing order? Adding to or changing your existing order is no problem providing that your order has not already been dispatched. If you would like to add to or change your order you will simply need to email us to arrange. We will also need to manually adjust the total amount of your order, you may be asked to provide details of your payment method so that we can make the appropriate changes How do I cancel my order? We understand that sometimes your situation can change. We are happy to offer a full refund if we have not yet mailed or commenced work on your order and providing a notice of cancellation is received within 24 hours of order placement. Please contact us to arrange cancellation How do I find out more about a particular product? Need to know more about a particular product? No problem, just email your query through. We do our best to respond to your emails within 24 hours, except on non-business days where you may need to wait until the next business day for a response. It is important that we hear from you as we also need to know what specific details customers look for. It helps us make the product descriptions on our site more detailed Will you confirm my order details? Yes, you will receive confirmation email immediately after your purchase. Will you inform me when my order is dispatched? Yes you will receive a dispatch confirmation email to confirm this. Within the email you will also receive a tracking number and link to track your purchased item. If you have not received your parcel within 7 days of placing your order, please contact us via email Do you Ship Internationally? We only Ship within Australia. Sorry we are unable to ship to international Countries. Cubby House FAQs What are the benefits of buying prefabricated panel cubby houses ? Prefabricated panel cubbies are easy and quick to assemble. If the supplied assembly instructions are followed the possibility of making a mistake is removed. The actual time spent in assembling the cubby is approximately two hours for 2 people. What is included in each Cubby House kit? - 8 unpainted prefabricated panels - Perspex (not glass) on all windows - Assembly instructions - All hardware - Window Planter boxes What is not included in Cubby House Kit? - Cubby Floor/Base. We suggest cubby be fixed on a level concrete/paved floor or timber joist floor - Paint - Silicon for extra waterproofing - Tools How is the Cubby House kit packaged? Our Large Cubby House Kit consists of 10 prefabricated panels which are delivered in 4 large cartons: - Carton 1: 1.86m x .95m x 0.09m 52kgs - Carton 2: 1.86m x 1.66m x 0.11m 50kgs - Carton 3: 1.82m x .8m x .12m 49kgs - Carton 4: 1.54m x 1.32m x 0.09m 34kgs Are your cubby houses available for pickup? Yes they are. They can be picked up from our distribution centre located in the suburb of Sunshine in Melbourne OR Smeaton Grange in Sydney. Address details can be provided when pickup arrangements are made. When do I have to paint my cubby ? Even though our cubbies are durable in their natural form, We recommend painting within the first 2 months after assembly. Especially if you reside in North of Australia where the climate can get quite harsh. What is your Cubby Houses made from? Our Cubby houses are made from Fir Wood which is part of the Pine Family. The wood is attractive, clean, safe to touch and has outstanding weather durability. Are your Cubby houses safe? Our products are designed and constructed to comply with Australian Safety Standards for strength, safety and durability What is the most important factor when installing the cubby? To read the instructions before you start and ensure the floor/base is level before you start to erect the Cubby House If I decide to place my Cubby on timber joist floor can I build the floor myself? We recommend that if you don’t consider yourself to be a handy person, to employ an experienced carpenter to build the timber floor. We strongly recommend that a marine plywood floor is used on top of the timber joists Can my cubby be dismantled if we sell our house and want to take the cubby with us? Yes definitely. This is an obvious benefit with prefabricated Cubbies. The panels can be unscrewed, transported to the new location and then reassembled How long does it take to get a cubby made and delivered? Unless noted on our website that we are currently out of stock, immediate delivery is available. Please note though depending on delivery location it can take up to 7-12 business days for Cubby to be delivered to your door |
