This cubby is stunning once finished and my 2 girls (3 and 6 years old) just love it...its like a dream house!
However... it is much more complicated to put together than described, taking my husband a full day to put together. We also found the instructions quite vague and the timber parts not clearly labelled to the instructions. The cubby also requires a lot of paint, as the timber is very porous it needs a primer plus 2 coats of weather shield all up, so 3 coats. We have spent about $300 on paint so far. It also takes a very long time to paint, so its a labour of love. I have spent over 25 hours on it, and I've still not finished all the window trims etc. You also need to pre-paint most of it before you put it together, so lots of prep work involved. In all, be prepared for a massive job if you want it to look like the pictures! You also need to use filler to fill gaps in the timber/roof etc, as it leaks unless you do this. Having said all this, it is a beautiful cubby once finished (I'm still not finished painting mine..!) and looks amazing in the back yard.
My feedback would be to at least supply it pre-primed painted, or at least all the white trims/frame/door etc to be supplied pre spray painted.
