HipKids Dispatch & Delivery GuidelinesÂ
Orders will be dispatched from our two separate Melbourne warehouse locations within approximately 1-2 business days via Australia Post or Couriers Please or our Courier Partner. Oversized items are sent with our preferred Courier Partner, Allied Express. Special Order brands (Mustard Made, Grow Me and Little Partners) will be sent directly from the supplier using their preferred courier service. For HipKids Personalisation Orders please refer to the delivery and dispatch notes below.
We do not offer an Express Post option.Â
HipKids does not ship to international addresses.
Pre-Order product orders will dispatch from the HipKids warehouse as a priority once the international shipping containers have been processed by our warehouse teams. Pre-Order arrival dates listed on the website are an estimate only. There may be overseas supplier, shipping or customs related delays. Customers will be notified by email if the warehouse arrival date changes by more than 7 business days.

Australia Post/Couriers Please Delivery Guidelines for November & December 2025
Once you receive your Dispatch Confirmation email, you can click on the 'Track My Order' link for updates.
If your order has multiple items being dispatched from different warehouse locations, you will receive separate tracking details. Please check your inbox and spam folders. These items may be delivered separately.
To track the ETA of your order and to see how many packages you are expecting, please refer to the Australia Post or Couriers Please websites for this detailed information.
Please refer to these estimated delivery timeframes once your order has been dispatched from our warehouses:
- MELBOURNE METRO:Â 2 -Â 5 business daysÂ
- VICTORIA other regional cities and towns:Â 3 -Â 7 business days
- METRO SYDNEY: 3 -Â 7 business days
- NSW & ACT: 4 – 8 business days
- QLD: Â 4 - 10 business days
- SA: 4 – 8 business days
- TAS: 4 – 8 business days
- NT: 4 – 8 business days
- WA: 7-14 business days
These are delivery guidelines only and may be subject to change based on unforeseen circumstances ie: peak times, sale periods, extreme weather, driver availability etc.Â

Click & Collect - Surrey Hills store
Click & Collect is available from our store in Surrey Hills, Melbourne.
- If the product is available for Click and Collect, it will give you the option to Pick Up from Surrey Hills once you get to the shipping section at checkout
- Most orders should be ready to collect within 24-48 business hours (excluding personalised orders and preorders)
- You will receive a text message when your order is ready to collect
- Oversize items are not available for Click & Collect
- Personalised products may take up to a week to be ready for collection
Please note:Â Click and Collect orders must be collected within 7 days once they are ready to collect. If the order is not collected in that timeframe, it may be cancelled and refunded.
Same Day Delivery: Melbourne only
HipKids offers a Same Day Delivery option for customers who live within a 50km radius of our store in Surrey Hills, Melbourne.
The service is powered by Rendr and offers customers a fast and efficient same day delivery service provided by on-demand carriers.
If this service is available for your order, the option and cost will be visible in your cart at the checkout.
- Order by 11am for same day delivery to addresses within a 50km radius from our store in Surrey Hills
- If you order after 11am on a weekday the order will be delivered the next business day (weekdays only)
- Once your order has been collected by the on-demand courier, you will receive a text giving you the delivery tracking details
- All Same Day Delivery orders have Authority To Leave
- Same Day Delivery is not available to Apartments/Units or P.O Boxes
- If for some reason, your order cannot be delivered it will be returned to the HipKids store in Surrey Hills and there will be a re-shipping charge to have it redelivered
- Same Day Delivery is not available on Pre-Order items, Gift Cards, Personalised Products or Oversized items (Cubbies and Beds etc)
Australia Post Tracking Information
When your order has been dispatched, you will receive an Australia Post tracking number.
Please check your emails (including your spam folder) for this information.
If you have ordered multiple items, these may be sent from different warehouses.
Your order may have multiple fulfillments:
- You may receive multiple tracking numbers if items have been sent from different warehouses.
- Your order may be partially delivered By Australia Post. Other items in your order are most likely in transit if you have not received them all together.
- You may need to check the drop-down menu details on the Aust Post tracking page to see the tracking information per item in your order.
 Australia Post Delivery Notes:
- We recommend downloading the Australia Post MyPost App to keep track of all of your deliveries. Aust Post may not leave an Attempted Delivery card and will communicate this information through your account in the My Post App. Â
- Australia Post has Authority to Leave (ATL) if it is safe & secure to do so.
- Australia Post may deem it necessary to deliver your order to the nearest Post Office or collection depot – this may be for the safety and security of your order.
- If you would like to change your delivery conditions, please log into your Australia Post account in the Aust Post MyPost App and you may be able to do so.
- To keep yourself informed of your delivery, check your Australia Post Tracking number and subscribe to their notification service. We recommend the Australia Post MyPost App to keep up to date on your order.
- Australia Post delivery times are an estimate only and are beyond the control of HipKids once orders have left our warehouses.
- HipKids does not offer refunds on shipping costs if the Australia Post delivery of your order is delayed.Â
Order Track & Manage using Chat on our website
You can follow up on the status of your HipKids order by using the Track & Manage function in the Chat platform on the HipKids website.Â
Click on the blue Chat button in the bottom right hand corner of any HipKids website page. Add in your email or phone number you used when placing your order. You will be issued with a unique verification code. Enter this code to learn more about your order
Allied Express Courier Service: Beds, Cubbies and oversized items
HipKids has a preferred courier service; Allied Express to deliver our Beds, Mattresses, Cubbies and other oversized items such as our HipKids Learning Tower, 18 inch Bike, Playhouse Tent, Micah Tall Bookcase, Sand Pit with Canopy, Mason & Layla Desks.
Most orders are dispatched from our Melbourne warehouse within 1-2 business days
Melbourne Metro Delivery timeframe: approximately 1-2 weeks from dispatch date
Interstate Delivery timeframe: approximately up to 3* weeks from dispatch date
*Delivery time frames will be dependant on courier driver availability and customer location.
Even when products with multiple cartons get dispatched together from our warehouse, they may get separated during the sorting process at the large courier depots and may be delivered separately.
Courier services may need assistance at the delivery address to assist with unloading large product cartons.
Our courier partners have Authority To Leave (ATL) in a safe place if you are not available to accept the delivery.
If this is not possible, they will leave a card for you to arrange a re-delivery time.
Couriers will deliver to your front door only and will not enter your premises or deliver to upstairs/downstairs locations.Â

Courier Tracking Information
Customers will be emailed courier tracking details once the order has been disaptched from our warehouse (please check your spam folder).
Tracking history will be available once the order has been scanned at the courier depot.
Courier delivery times may depend on driver availability in some locations.
Allied Express courier service will send you a text on the day of delivery.
Orders that contain multiple cartons, may get separated at the Allied Express sorting depot and be delivered separately. Unfortunately this is beyond our control. If items do get delivered separately, please continue to check your tracking for updates on remaining cartons to be delivered. Remaining cartons should be delivered within 1-3 business days.

Checking your delivery:
HipKids requests customers to check the delivered cartons and products as soon as you receive the delivery so we can assist with any transit issues.
Personalisation Products: Name Sticker and Embroidery
Our personalisation products are completed at our Surrey Hills office once per week.
Name Stickers:
Name Stickers are sent separately from the ordered product.
They are sent surface mail with Australia Post so please look out for a HipKids white envelope in your mailbox. Instructions are included.
Please allow up to 14-21 days from the order date for delivery – this is an estimate and depends on Australia Post local area delivery times.
Click & Collect orders may take up to a week to be ready for collection.
Embroidery:
You will receive tracking details when your order has been dispatched.
Please allow up to 2 weeks for dispatch.

International Shipping
HipKids currently only ships to Australian addresses.
International customers are able to place an order on the HipKids website and have it shipped to an Australian address.
